I don’t see availability for months, is your website broken?
Our stylists are typically very busy, a wait time of 6-8 weeks or more is normal. We are working to make this better as CDC regulations are being removed.
What happens on the first time visit? Why does it take 3 hours?
As our name says, we are all about curls.
This is our opportunity to start a curl relationship. There is so much that goes into this appointment showing you what has taken us years to learn.
This is what you can expect on our first visit:
- We begin with analyzing your curl size, texture and directions curls want to go.
- We then analyze your features and together decide a plan that fits you and your lifestyle
- We proceed with the dry cut, from a variety of methods that we know and use to suit your texture and selected haircut
- We detox your hair from all unwanted product ingredients
- Show you how to wash, condition your curls with the proper products specific for your curl texture as we explain the how’s and why’s of what we are doing, then we add stylers, again chosen for your curls.
- We dry your curls and explain and demonstrate how to lift wet curls off your scalp
- Shake your now dry curls and continue with the “yoga cut” Allowing us to see how your hair falls with gravity and making necessary adjustments if needed.
- We gift you with a special Me My Curls and I towel and accessories to help you recreate what you learned
You may schedule yourself on our site for this first appointment service, or schedule a consultation with stylist of your choice and come up with a plan that fits both.
How much do your services cost?

I’ve already had a “Deva” cut before, do I still need a first time client appointment?
Yes, Because of the laxity in certifications, and our specific methods we approach all forms of curls, we require all new clients to have our First Time Appointment.
A consultation with your stylist might be beneficial to discuss which plan you may follow.
How do I arrive for my appointment, as instructions say come in with your best curls?
Come freshly washed and styled. This means all the products you typically use. Clean, untangled dry curls. We need to see the curl pattern and growth direction as they come from your scalp.
No ponytails, headbands, hats, anything that will alter your curls. Unfortunately we’ve had to reschedule and charge clients that overlooked these instructions.
Can I bring my kids to my appointment?
Please do not bring guests to your appointment, including spouses, friends or children.
Only parents accompanying a minor getting a service is permitted to remain.
Can you fix my damaged hair so it curls again?
We will do all we can to help you transition into healthy hair. Please be patient and understand that it can take several visits/ cuts to reach your curl goals. Reparative treatments like OLAPLEX will help… Conditioning treatments are intended help healthy hair or minimally damaged hair to remain healthy and not to correct severely damaged hair.
I want a color too with my first appointment
Our First appointment service is about a 3 hour appointment. We would love to do your color on a separate day
