I had never had a curly cut before I met Susanne two years ago and now that I’ve experienced the way my hair SHOULD be cut, I can’t imagine ever going back to your run of the mill salon. Susanne takes immense pride in all of her work, taking the time to make sure your hair is PERFECT before you walk out the door. She is also a wealth of knowledge and has helped me learn how to take care of my curly/wavy hair and I’m so excited that my knowledge will also benefit my young daughter. May she never experience the awful hair days I had for the first 33 years of my life! Susanne’s expertise shows how much of a true curly cut is art vs science and I’m incredibly grateful that I found her.

Unparalleled! What truly sets Susanne apart, however, is her genuine care and concern for her clients' well-being. She not only provided expert curly cut, but also offered valuable tips for maintaining the health and vitality of my hair between visits. Her personalized approach made me feel valued and appreciated as a client, leaving a lasting impression. I used to come to her 8 years ago, and my hair hasn't seen a stylist as dedicated and professional as her since. I live in Maryland, and made sure to coordinate my hair appt around a visit to see friends.

It’s going to be difficult to write a review that doesn't sound too overt the top like they paid me to do it. Here it goes… I’ve been struggling with very curly hair since birth. I reached out to Susanne with pictures and descriptions of my struggle via text. And she was amazingly helpful and understanding. I went into get my hair cut and help with figuring out a daily hair care routine and has a transformative experience. I learned so much and then forgot a bunch of it.. maybe because I was half mesmerized by the process and went back in for the instructions one more time. Now… I can do my hair on my own and not feel depressed or insecure about it. I feel freer. Thank you so much me myself and my curls and Susanne! 🥰 you are a blessing to all us curly heads!
